Welcome back to this week’s #ShopLocalSaturday; where I highlight local eats and shops that I have visited. This week is featuring Iguana New York in the Theater District!
I had a friend visit from Arizona; so we decided to grab something to eat around the area, and it was Iguana that was the closest place. Since it was a weekday, after the lunch rush; seating was not a problem.
Looking over the lunch menu; we went over to the lunch special;
My friend got the Casear salad as the appetizer, and the chicken stacked enchiladas as the main course. I got the chicken taquitos appetizers, and chicken burritos as the entree.
The chicken taquitos were a good start to my lunch, the chicken was good and savory. The sauce on top of them (don’t recall what it was) gave it a slight kick, so it wasn’t too spicy for me. The chicken burritos had a lot of sauce all around it (as seen above), but did not take away from the taste of the burrito itself. Though in hindsight, I maybe should have put the salsa and sour cream in the burrito to enhance the flavor.
To end; I recommend Iguana to anyone who is looking for a great date spot. The dining area is most ideal for dinner dates, it has a bar area for those who enjoy happy hour. Looking around the area; it has a dance floor, so for those who enjoy dancing; highly advised to check out Iguana.
As a bonus; if you do wanna get the most bang for your buck; I’ll leave you with the following options below with my links, so that you can earn cash back on what you order while you’re visiting Iguana New York.
