#ShopLocalSaturday Highlight: Bigoi Venezia

The Eric Fong • July 20, 2019

Welcome back to this week’s #ShopLocalSaturday; where I highlight local eats and shops that I have visited. This week is featuring  Bigoi Venezia  on the Upper East Side in Lenox Hill, NY!

I was visiting the Upper East Side to meet up with a friend; so why not pick a place to eat that’s nearby?

So I discovered a Italian pasta spot; Bigoi Venezi, that was close to where my friend and I were going to meet up. The place was fairly small; with a few seats at the window, and a few more seats nearby at the wall. It seems like this place is meant to be grab-and-go like most who work and/or live in NYC that are on-the-go lifestyle.

While the menu seems limited; it does cut down the time needed to decide on which dish to get.

What I got was the Bolognese Classica (pictured at the top). Going with the classic pasta dish; the noodles seemed very generic, it was the sauce (of course) with the beef and pork that completed the entire plate. Being someone who doesn’t frequently eat Italian dishes; I made sure that the noodles were covered in the sauce. Each bite and pull was good and savored the taste.

To end; if I’m in the area again, and desired Italian; I’ll come back to Bigoi Venezia. As a solo diner, I would recommend to fellow solo diners (because seating is very limited). But as a group setting; it would be best to head to another place.

What’s your take on it? Give Bigoi Venezia a try, and let me know your experience; would love to compare notes.

As a bonus; if you do wanna get the most bang for your buck; I’ll leave you with the following options below with my links, so that you can earn cash back on what you order while you’re visiting Bigoi Venezia.

Know of any other local shops that you enjoy going to that should be highlighted? Leave a comment and let me know!

And as always,

Remember to always support your local establishments! They are a part of your community!

“It’s not what you know. It’s who you know.” You probably heard this statement many times. You may be wondering, “What’s that really mean? Who do I have to know? And how do I do that?” My simple answer to that is; networking. Networking is a necessity as you grow up. In fact, you already know how to network and know people; you’ve been doing it all your life.

What’s in the teapot today for Tea Time Thursday? I popped open my #chrysanthemumtea today from Chinese Tea Culture. I definitely love the taste. It reminds me when I go #dimsum and this tea is served. Gotta love when it’s brewed #teatimethursday #chinesetea #nostalgia
