Welcome back to this week’s #ShopLocalSaturday; where I highlight local eats and shops that I have visited. This week is featuring Field’s Good Chicken in Midtown!
I was meeting up with my friend; Chris, in Midtown Manhattan since it was the midway point for us; Chris being from the Bronx, and myself from Brooklyn. We had agreed to meet up at Field’s Good Chicken in Midtown east for good local eats in the area.
The place was pretty decent size; had a few tables throughout the place, and a window single seating.
The menu looks very diverse, with many options, with prepaid bowls and plates, but I always opt for the create your own option. As seen in the image above, I got herb chicken with sweet potatoes and roasted broccoli over mixed greens with chipotle sauce over it. I believe that Chris has gotten a bowl that looks more plentiful than mine, but cannot recall any more at this time.
Luckily for me, the chipotle sauce was mild enough for handle, but I still needed the occasional drink of water to help quell the rising hotness after a few bites. The sauce with the chicken was delicious, with the chicken already have herbs on them, the sauce enhanced the taste of it.
I enjoyed the roasted broccoli, as being introduced to a more vegetarian diet lifestyle has included some excellent food choices that I never thought was possible.
To end, if you or someone you know is looking for very healthy eats, then I would recommend to give Field’s Good Chicken a try. If I had to describe it, it’s Chipotle’s healthy-eating sister store. And to my knowledge, this particular set of stores are only available in New York City only.
As a bonus; if you do wanna get the most bang for your buck; I’ll leave you with the following options below with my links, so that you can earn cash back on what you order while you’re at Field’s Good Chicken. *Disclaimer: I do not make any compensation from these links, unless you make a purchase through them; at no extra cost to you*
Know of any other local shops that you enjoy going to that should be highlighted? Leave a comment and let me know!
And as always,
Remember to always support your local establishments! They are a part of your community!
